About School
We are happy to announce that in the framework of the Skoltech, ITMO and MIPT collaboration (so-called Clover network), ITMO will host a Photonics Winter School from 12th to 16th of December. The event will be opened to PhD students and early-stage researchers (with less than 5 years of postdoctoral experience).
During the 3-day event, experts from ITMO, SkolTech, and MIPT will provide lectures on fundamentals and modern achievements in various directions of photonics, including energy harvesting, sensing, polaritonics, quantum computing, biophotonics, 2D materials, and much more.
What to expect:
- 3 days of talks on fundamentals and modern achievements in various directions of photonics
- social activities to strengthen collaborations
- pitch and poster session to share the results of your research

How to apply
Selection of the School participants is made on the basis of applicant’s CV and motivation.
All participants are expected to prepare and present a 60-second pitch and a poster describing their current research.
